Definition

A variety-containing subgroup of group of prime power order is a subgroup of a group of prime power order satisfying the following equivalent conditions:

  1. for some (i.e., is one of the omega subgroups of group of prime power order) and the exponent of divides .
  2. is a variety-containing subgroup of .
  3. is a subhomomorph-containing subgroup of .
  4. is a subisomorph-containing subgroup of .
