The term transitive subgroup property encapsulates a similar flavour, and the given definition is a fairly natural one. Moreover, the fact that a normal subgroup of a normal subgroup need not be normal is often stated in the literature as normality is not transitive, indicating that implicitly, the term transitive subgroup property has been used in the literature.
