An article in Groupprops could be any of the following:
- A definition article: This defines a term and may give further details about the term or the concept it represents
- A fact article: This gives a fact which may be a lemma, theorem, proposition, corollary or just a plain fact. It may or may not give a proof of the fact.
- A specific information article: This gives specific information e.g., about a particular facet of a term. It may be considered a spinoff of the associated definition article.
- A survey article: This provides a general introduction to a particular area of way of thinking or formalism within the subject
- A real-world entity article: This is about a particular real-world entity, which could be a person, a journal, a conference, a book.
