Alternative division ring
Definition
An alternative division ring is an allternative unital ring in which all nonzero elements are invertible, i.e., the Moufang loop formed by invertible elements is the set of all nonzero elements of the ring.
The Bruck-Kleinfeld theorem says that every alternative division ring is either a division ring or a Cayley-Dickson algebra.
