We've had a look at some of the basic definitions of groups. You might want to take a little break by reading some light pieces:

• What on earth is a group? is a dialogue where a mathematician tries to explain the notion of a group to a non-mathematician.
• Why care about groups? is a more serious discussion between a group theorist and a student keen to know more about the subject.
