Philip Hall (11 April 1904,Hamsptead - 30 December, 1982, Cambridge) was an English mathematician.

Professional life

Recognitions:

  • 1951: Elected Fellow of the Royal Society
  • 1955-57: President of the London Mathematical Society
  • 1958: Won the Berwick prize
  • 1961: Won the Silvester Medal
  • 1965: Won the deMorgan medal

Group theory
