Inner fusion system

Definition

The inner fusion system on a group of prime power order is the fusion system induced by the group on itself.

The fusion system induced by a finite group on its p-Sylow subgroup equals the inner fusion system on the Sylow subgroup if and only if the group is a p-nilpotent group, i.e., it possesses a normal p-complement.
